“The cyclsoporiasis outbreak linked to contaminated iceberg lettuce has grown to 1,947 illnesses in nine states, according to the most recent update from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s probably an undercount because physicians may not be testing patients for it yet, said Molly O'Shea, M.D., a pediatrician in Michigan, one of the hardest-hit states.”
