In 2000, measles was eliminated in the United States; now the largest outbreak in decades is killing children while RFK Jr. undermines efforts to control it and protect Americans from being exposed to this deadly disease.
Hundreds infected, dozens hospitalized, Americans dead, and he is downplaying the outbreak while promoting non-medical treatments that are already making people sick. The measles vaccine is safe and effective, but RFK Jr. lied when he said “I support the measles vaccine.” He has abandoned science and is putting our communities at risk of a deadly disease.

RFK Jr. forced out the nation’s top expert on vaccines who called out his “lies” as “a clear danger to our nation’s health, safety and security.” He fired specialists working to prevent lead contamination in schools. He got rid of scientists focused on stopping the spread of bird flu and wiped out the team tasked with sharing critical health information with the public. It is clear that RFK Jr.’s reckless actions are having a catastrophic impact on our health.
TERMINATING HEALTH PROGRAMS
The US has long been the world leader in medical breakthroughs — from curing polio, to pioneering the use of antibiotics, to performing the first successful kidney transplant. Now, RFK Jr. is taking American innovation and scientific achievement backward.
Despite promising Congress that he is committed to “gold-standard” science, RFK Jr. hired a discredited conspiracy theorist who practiced medicine without a license to lead scientific studies, he’s defunding the next generation of cancer research gutting the facility tasked with preventing the next pandemic.
